Cory Akers

Buildable Stagelight Element Spotlight

Meet Cory Akers! The original founding member of LouD and your main vocalist.

Cory has been testing the limits of his vocals with each song he sings since the band was created in August 2015. With a booming voice, mixed with a soul grabbing projection, and a dash of expression with emotion, Cory is sure to grab your attention with any song on their playlist.

Cory says that his passion for music is fueled by the energy and emotion the music brings to life. From the personal connection to the songs and to the energy of the crowd that each song brings, this is what keeps his love for music alive.

Cory says his favorite part about performing is the feeling he has when he's on stage. It's a stress relief, an adrenaline rush, and it really feels like it's the only place he fits in sometimes.

Cory says his music goal is to write and record at least one song to say "Hey! That's my song"! He loves performing covers but would definitely like to have a few originals in the mix while keeping the multi genre theme.

When you see Cory at the next show, be sure to give him a big "hey there Cory!"

Chris Doyle

Meet Chris Doyle! One of the original members of LouD and master of the drums! Slinging some toe tapping, booty shaking, head bopping beats for LouD since August 2015.

Chris says that for him, what would fuel his passion for music would have to be just the emotion of it, just the pure raw emotion. He puts what he feels in every song he plays and then bring that emotion alive with every beat of the drum. That's why music can be so emotional. Sometimes you hear it, but for Chris, he just feels it.

Chris says his favorite part of performing would have to be literally every aspect of it. The road trips. The different venues and atmosphere. The opportunity to do what I love to do in front of people who enjoy it. Watching them dance with the beat of the drums is simply awesome for me. Playing with some pretty talented fellow band members makes you love it even more.

Chris also says that his goal with his music career would have to be to go as far as the good Lord will allow him. He says "I really don't want pick a certain area, I just want my talent and skills to be heard by as many people as possible. I would like for my music career to just simply be endless."

When you see Chris performing at a venue near you, be sure to give this drummer a big "hey there Chris!"

Johnny Cook

Meet Johnny, guitarist for LouD.

Johnny has been with LouD since January 2017. He plays the guitar as if it soothes his soul.

He says that fueling his passion for music came from his love for music. The first time he listened to 96.3 on the radio and he heard that rock n roll, it touched his soul and he immediately knew that he had to learn how to play the guitar. And he did. At 15 years old Johnny bought his first guitar and began his lessons.

Johnny says that his favorite part about performing would have to be that he enjoys performing with the band and playing for the people that come out to hear them play. Being able to connect with people through music is just a connection that can't be described with words.

Johnny's goal with his music career is to be able to take his talent and experiences as far as he can. Music is his life, and he can't wait to see where this journey takes him each next day.

When you see Johnny, be sure to give him a quick "hey there Johnny!"

Brian Jones

Meet Brian Jones, Bassist for LouD. Brian is considered to be the showman of the group. He loves engaging with crowd and showing his skills and talent to anyone and everyone that likes a good show.

Brian has been with LouD since February 2022. He says that his love for playing the bass and the God given gift to do so, it what fuels his passion for music. Being able to jam with like-minded musicians that have the same passion and drive as he does is very important in that passion and drive for him. Brian has been playing the bass since 1998, but actually started playing in church around 1979. It's just a part of his DNA. Being a cancer survivor and having a second chance at life fuels his passion that much more for music and entertainment. He's thankful for every day. Brian says the best part of performing, for him, is being able to make people get up and move. For him, it feels like they are a part of the show which he enjoys; the dancing, watching the crowd sing along, everything. It's just an amazing feeling when the crowd gets pumped up and ready to rock with them. "It's the energy they give us, it's like no other".

Brian says his music career goals are mostly to play as long as he can, and with LouD he believes he will be doing just that. Brian says "we are and have become such an amazing band, one with the same passion and goals, and that's very important. So mostly, to keep playing, keep performing, and as always bring the crowd into our world so that they may be able to forget theirs just for a little while."

When you see Brian out and about, be sure to give him a big "Hey there Brian!"
